Apple Turns The Heat Up And Tmobile Responds

As one developer, who was briefed on the matter, said: “The App store was a big deal, but that’s one phone. This is an entire carrier.” In other words, we are talking about T-Mobile’s 31.5 million subscribers today vs. the 10 million iPhones Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) expects to sell by year-end (granted, the iPhone users tend to be more engaged as early adopters). The impact of this move by T-Mobile could set off a wave of changes in the industry, as other carriers feel pressure to offer new applications on their networks.

Wow, Steve Job's Jedi mind tricks really do work!

Apple,You Almost Tricked Me

Rumor: MacBook updates to include glass trackpad, other goodies | Computerworld Blogs

"# The new models are thinner than current MacBook and MacBook Pros and slightly more rounded, taking design cues from the MacBook Air.
# The trackpad is glass, multi-touch and uses gestures. The screen isn’t multi-touch.
# The body is manufactured out of one piece of aluminum. Eco-friendly, yet sturdy. Manufacturing process is completely different."

Talk about egg on my face! I saw the above link and started daydreaming about the perfect Apple Post. The Post that records for the first time in history a "software" update for Macbooks. I was going to explain in detail how Apple hid in their laptop hardware tons of hardwired upgrades just waiting for the "switch" to cut them on. How although the Iphone 2.0 software slowed down everything it touched, the new Macbook upgrades will speed it up with new productivity tools like multi-touch mouse pad, gestures and even multi-touch screen.....

But then I kept reading and found out only the new Macbooks coming out in Sept. will have all of these cool features(except for the touchscreen). Bummer....

More excitement greets Apple's new iPhone - MarketWatch

The first 3G iPhone reportedly was sold at a Vodafone Group store in Auckland, New Zealand, after the combination mobile phone, iPod and Wi-Fi device went on sale shortly after midnight there.

Let me start off by saying that I am not a fan of the iPhonE. There, I said it. I just bought my first ipod last year for the mobile video use. If I needed the functions the iphoNe provided, maybe then I would participate. As it stands though I will not buy an ipHone anytime soon. My friends have one, but since I bought Eee, I'm good...Yes it looks sleek but how good is the camera? Has anyone tested it's battery life with the GPS and bluetooth on? Are there any reviews or tests out there? Talk about a walled garden. You have to jail break it just to use today's software. Are we seeing the red flags here? Still not on Tmobile in the US. To buy it out right costs more than the Gen1 version. I can't trust anything I can't fix if it breaks...No iph0ne for me, no thanx...

New Vapor 3G Iphone

Not this Picture though. This pic came from a poor guy in December last year ( http://my-cellphone-reviews.blogspot.com/ ). The sad part is since cameras weren't allowed today, there is STILL no evidence of the new phone. Oh, plenty of people saw something in Steve Jobs hand, but was it really the item coming out July 11th, 2008? Or is it just something he brought to show-and-tell for today? Really, think about it. Vista was thrown together to compete with OSx and Linux. Www.Qik.com now plays on Nokia's and Windows mobile phones(think about it!). Steve Jobs earlier said Flash is trash and Microsoft pushes out Silverlight around the same time. And the number one reason why Stevie J was holding a concept phone today...Louis Gray refused to post anything about it( http://www.louisgray.com/live/2008/06/louisgraycom-experiences-100-uptim... ). I rest my case folks...
