APML + Feedego = The Future?
June 4, 2008 - 11:21pm — SolacetechWhile doing research for www.feedzz.com , directeur on www.friendfeed.com said www.feedego.com was way better. Really? Ok, I bit and signed up. It's very different in that it uses APML...AP-what? Just like OPML(a file listing every blog you've read on Google reader and others), APML allows one to save certain Keywords in one file. Uploading this file to Feedego and others will make the service deliver blogs that match your keywords. Cool? Eh, it's unique for the moment, but soon it will be the "future"! The premise is that keywords describe our likes, dislikes and personalities better. Soon tags will deliver us our content. Soon we won't have to manually add blogs to our favorite list. SOON- Well, you get it...
Rooms+Stats=Twitter?
May 26, 2008 - 12:34pm — SolacetechThis might be a little too early but I wanted to a least put it on paper. After www.friendfeed.com fragmented itself into rooms, I wondered if the stats would change any. It doesn't look like it did too much. Twitter is still the number #1sorce of flowing info and Scoble is still the most interesting person on the web(heh heh, to me anyway). What has changed is the Blog stats. There is a lot more blogs to read(yea!). Friendfeed posts has increased dramatically also, the bookmarklet has to be one of the best Web 2.0 tools this year! So on this lazy Monday, I'm off from PC work ,but still hitting the blog bricks...What does your stats say?
