Why i stopped the music, originally uploaded by Solacetech.

As i think back, many things have been left "unresolved". Of course i understand the reasons for my actions but maybe it's not that easily discernable from the outside. Last year the third of like 6 websites I made was music based. Not the typical topics but the business of music and music production. I was really excited about this because no one covered the angle I had. As the posts and convos with artists and dj's continued, i lost the love for music. Why would a rapper say yes to promotion but no to a blog? Don't know what that is? Fine, say that then so i can show you. The last straw was after all The work I put into the site, it managed to lock me out somehow. It gave me a reason but by then i was already fed up. I LET IT GO. Then, what blew my mind was a statement from a dj "so how long before you get bored with this one too?" he was talking about my site here. What he said tells me people really don't understand the constant up hill battle content providers have. "BORED"...

Just testing flickr video. Trying to do interviews now. This should be cool to watch. We had a good conversation about music that moves the crowd. He mentioned a kind of music called "freestyle". When he played some for me from his Pearl I instanly remembered it as the Q102 club music I heard in the nineties. Since I'm sooooo old (35 this July) the dance music I loved has changed it's name to make way for the new "club" music...Fine...

Been heavy into the Ipod lately. I won't tell you what I'm listening too, but it's giving me the production itch again. It's been at least two years since I made a beat and I think it's almost time to start again(Click here to listen). I won't tell you why I stopped but I'm not as mad as I was before, sour grapes make good wine.
