McNabb is Embarrassed, His Fans Blame The Coach

"I'm embarrassed with the way I played. I didn't do enough to win the game for my team. I take that to heart. I want the ball in my hand when the game is on the line and, if I have it, I have to make a play. I'll take that responsibility. All three of our losses were within a score so one play could have made a difference - a fumble, an interception, calling an audible, not calling an audible"

Instant Fantasy Football Help!

ESPN FFL 2008: Fantasy Football Surround

Yes it's Sunday and yes I'm taking off my Techie hat for a moment. As I was adjusting my Sports cap, I noticed a link that said "Check out Fantasy Surround for last minute lineup analysis."

Interesting... There's a live chat up till gametime with Eric Karabell and an animated power ranking for every football player. Live video till game time is there too. Lately I've been wrong following their advise but at least they have the needed tools...just bad advise.

How's your team doing?

Eagles Looking Good So Far...

{UPDATE: Wow 38 to 3? Great way to start off the season! Go EAGLES!!!}

Alright! Yeah, I was worried about Mcnabb, the special teams, the wide receivers and Reggie Brown's injury. Thankfully it's only third quarter and we are still winning! Let's just hope they don't run out of gas and let the Rams come back. A win today will do wonders for the Fans in Philadelphia...

Keeping the Madden Tradition

No, the most entrenched and dominant sports franchise today is a hyperrealistic re-creation of pro football that comes in a box. It's Madden NFL, a video-game behemoth that has sold more than 70 million copies since its inception in 1989. According to the NPD Group, manufacturer EA Sports has raked in nearly $2.4 billion at retail from Madden NFL since 1995, the year the marketing-research firm began tracking sales.

That's a Philly Dude in his Basement playing Madden. Believe it or not he's ranked number 3 nationally. I haven't been to a Madden party in years. I have tried to continue the tradition though: When I upgraded My six-year-old to PS2, The first thing I bought him was Madden... :)

Brett Favre Comes Back, But For What?

"The NFL officially reinstated veteran quarterback Brett Favre on Monday, clearing the way for his return to the Green Bay Packers. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell's announcement ended constant media speculation on the 38-year-old's playing status after he had retired earlier this year."
Boy, why do competitors have trouble hanging it up? Sure it's the only thing you've done since pee-wee sports and your family aren't use to seeing you at home. You never paid attention to your studies in school, so you never invested your money or built businesses. Yes you get that itch come training camp and your friends already talk about the "good 'ole days"...
But, that does not give you the right to hinder your team from moving on. From crushing your back-up's psyche once he realizes he won't start this season either. It's not fair to the history books to try to win one more ring. Let someone else try to do what you've done, not what you're doing now...

L.J. Smith Wants a long Term Deal...

Lj Smith

I think I understand this one. L.J. Smith wants a long term contract with the Eagles, but he was hurt most of last year. Now I'm no expert but usually tagging someone as a "franchise player" means they want you but not at the price your worth.

The Other Manning doing his thing!!!

The Other Manning doing his thing!!!Two Mannings in a row get to the Superbowl. That has to be a record somewhere...

Micheal Vick's prison address?

If this is real,Drop him a line....

Donavan Mcnabb...Really?

DMcnabb

(I spelled his name wrong, lol) Where is my "let me be me" cap? Philly is not a fickle sports town. From day one we didn't want Donovan Mcnabb. His whole career has been under a "microscope"and the latest incidents has given us a reason to say we told you so. Really though, what other choice did we have? A new Quarterback loving Head coach would of course pick a QUARTERBACK,not Ricky Williams,a runningback.
