Fill Up your Gasoline Tanks Now

Home

Even before Ike hit, quite a few areas of the US were starting to see gasoline shortages. The impact of Ike can only make shortages worse. Most likely, it will take refineries at least a week or two to get production back to normal levels after a storm of this type, considering the impacts of electrical outages and flooding.

Oil Bubble?

T-Mobile

Catching up on my news podcasts came across something interesting. The news is comparing the tech bubble of the 90's and the housing bubble with the OIL bubble! That's a lot of bubbles! Ok so let's review. After the tech fall, companies closed down and salaries dropped considerably. After the house (after?) fiasco, prices dropped which was good for buyers and bad for sellers.
What then of this oil turmoil? Optimistically the price will drop and things will turn back to normal. Oh, and then the rich will be less richer? Clearly there's something wrong with this economic system. The best thing to do is to wait for the balance or "equalizer"...

Yesterday on the news it was noted how public transportation is getting more popular. I personally changed jobs so i can use the trolley instead of the car. Thankfully the weather is nice so walking is an option in Philadelphia too. Some say it's good that gas prices are getting insane. What do you think? Want to guest blog? You Missed the Gas Sale Today

I missed it too. It was in honor of the 76ers. Thankfully they won! Can you believe it? 2-1? My client bought her husband tickets for tonite's game, that's a beautiful wife right there!!! Here's the Info: http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5i0pd0zcBwQFrAI2iKxdn37OYyUqgD9098UF82
I also missed the 5 hour ago post Louis Gray made about twitter, it's use and possible "noise". Now when I mention twitter at work with my fellow IT techs, I might as well have grown a third eye. It's still not mainstream yet. Oh well, I do enjoy the company there, even if I'm a "MEGAPHONE" :-) here's the info: http://www.louisgray.com/live/2008/04/whats-your-twitter-noise-ratio.htm...

Cooking Oil Car

If it burned cleanly, Philadelphia could really use this...
