Hurray for Blu-Ray, I mean Centrino 2!

After miscue, Centrino 2 takes the stage | News - Business Tech - CNET News.com

This time around, Centrino 2's high-definition media capability is what Intel is trying to push. The whole platform is set up to enhance Blu-ray playback, and the company says it will help a laptop's battery last two hours, which for many films means you can see the entire HD movie without having to recharge.

Blu-Ray has won the HD war and it's spoils are laptops and new technology allowing battery life to last as long as the movie.

Is IBM Becoming A ISP?

IBM Inks Innovative Technology Agreement With Pike County Schools - MarketWatch

"As part of the 5-year agreement, IBM will provide Pike County Schools with an internet access service that gives older PCs the ability to access the internet and applications in a manner similar to more current systems."

Why is IBM experimenting on our kids? It's bad enough when Cisco connects itself to everything tech in it's commercials. Why is IBM acting like an Internet Service Provider? Is this their next step after selling almost everything to Lenovo? I wonder if this a test to see if they can do this in a b to b fashion or will they try it on the consumer side too?

When All Else Fails, Buy More Tech Stock

Minyanville - NEWS & VIEWS-DepewTube: Like Shooting Tech In a Barrel

Kevin's throwing darts at the technology corner of his screen and coming up green no matter what ticker he hits. From Apple (AAPL) to IBM (IBM), a lot of tech stocks are outperforming today.

Things are getting scary outside of Silicon valley. American Car companies are on the verge of shutting down. Gasoline is getting more expensive even though the price of oil per barrel is going down. China bought most of our national debt (thanx btw) and the scariest thing to date? Starbucks can't afford to have a store every other block!!! So what's a "Day Trader" to do? Apparently it's buy tech stock. The virtual world is looking real green right now and the bubble won't burst for a while (sorry Dvorack) .
