Fickle Fan Boys

Now I'm not bitting the hand that feeds me,I do still love www.twitter.com , but it's starting to get real defensive in here. ReadWriteWeb(see link below) after a complaint about NOT showcasing twitter alternatives, decided to list other choices like www.friendfeed.com ...So what was the result? People complained that they were now giving Twitter too much bad press. Really? So are they Twitter fan boys or detractors? I love it! Our online newspapers have such a diverse audience, it's impossible to please everyone. Some worried about http://arstechnica.com/ losing it's touch when www.wired.com 's parent company bought them. No worries, Wired will still be for the consumer and Ars will still be for the developers...FANBOYS!!!!!

The Friend Feed Effect

This week's Solacetech Podcast is ready.Press Play ---------->

I've really learned a lot from Friend feed this week. Not from the software, but from the intelligent conversations. This app/website has filled my void. I love Twitter and Pownce and every other web based Short Message System too. But on Friend Feed (FF), I'm actually part of the conversation. It gives you the options to like a post, comment or even link to it like this: http://friendfeed.com/bwana . I think I found my new vice,I haven't checked my Google Reader in days!
