Trying Hard To Like Loren Feldman

14
points

I will not watch the video in question but i will quickly say that I don't think Loren singled out Black tech. He's a jerk to everyone lol, he doesn't discriminate at all. He'll still make money once this blows over. Arrington was a good guy for exposing and helping this blow over too. Loren, try to be more professional and still funny please...

Looking for the song you heard on the radio?

Don't you hate that? They just played a new song by so-and-so and you would love to here it again. Nowadays even commercials have songs cool enough to play again. I can't get enough of the Zune commercial with the neptunes' "Spaz" song.

"I'm right here and I ain't going nowhere! You can turn tables and you can throw chairs!"

So I went to www.streamzy.com to search for the song. Not only did I find the song, the website found the video too! Cool!

Here's the business side to the new search engine: http://www.techcrunch.com/2008/07/03/streamzy-a-fresh-face-for-seeqpods-...

Techcrunch Interviews Sarah Lacy

points

I would like to formally apologize to Sarah Lacy. Yes I followed the mob mentality a couple of months ago. No, her interview with Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg was not as bad as it was made out to be. She really has skills! I could never do her job: Deliver financial tech reports on video, interview intimidating personalities with ease. Write books and articles... I wish her continued success.

After officially Moving/Starting www.inquisitr.com , Duncan Riley formally of www.Techcrunch.com, has already been posted on www.Techmeme.com (look for the blue highlight on pic). Duncan's new love will encompass tech, pop culture and odd/funny news...Hmm that sound familiar. I guess for www.myphillynetwork.com 's sake, I hope The Inquisitr flourishes in this niche dominated world...

Tech Crunch Is Today's Journalism

(Please forgive my posting via cellphone...)Is this your desk? Caffeine on the left and mouse on the right? This looks like a typical newspaper/magazine reporter's desk. See the memory card reader for pictures or recorded interviews taken in the field? Sleepless nights trying to finish the column/post before deadline? How about a Senior Editor/Boss who sleeps less than you ,constantly pushing without words but patting his employees on their back by giving them credit when due? Every Newspaper has a oversees journalist giving the reports from his offsite location. I think I ran out of imagery here because www.techcrunch.com reminds me of the succesful newspapers of old...Funny enough the "paper" versions are trying to shed their image of old style reporting...How does that saying go? Throwing the baby out with the bath water? As drastic as that sounds is as drastic as our WSJ and others sound...Come on guys just enable RSS, make it free to view the posts and do online advertising... No need to worry about Mr. Arrington, just leave a place at the table for him and others...

The TechCrunch Explosion

Erick Schonfeld from TechCrunch gets philosophical. Here's my two cents:

"Wow! Thanx for pulling back the curtains a little bit. I'm not sure if Arrington suggested this post, but it seems to me switching gears with this "letter" endeared listeners who might have thought about unsubscribing b/c of the increased posts... Keep growing, maybe being the next C|net won't be that bad..."

Social.im

Hmmm... At www.Techcrunch.com 's request, I tried www.Facebook.com 's Social.IM. It's still kinda buggy. I installed it to my XP laptop first and it had trouble automatically logging into facebook. It reminded me of setting up a network, if the sequence was wrong it just hung. First I tried to log in to Social.IM while already signed into Facebook. That didn't work.

Wow, Some people can't extract good points out of Flamboyant Answers. This is a problem many have with www.Mahalo.com creator Jason Calacanis. Why do I care?
