YouTube – Clearwire BEER FILLED COLISEUM!.

Perfect timing on this great Philadelphia sports day! Amazingly, using the beer to illustrate internet coverage was effective. Moving around with Earthlink’s Wifi in Philly was a bad idea as I moved from access point to access point. Internet from the phone is mobile but insanely slow with AT&T and Tmobile. Wimax/4G however, looks like a warm wash of highspeed internet for everyone at just 20$/day.

Comcast and Sprint will also have this tech in Philly so expect the next wave of start ups to come from Philly. I trully believe better tools create better ideas and now we just might be ready to compete..Here’s the press release:
