Chucking The Round Shiny Things For A Roku

# Over 12,000 movies and TV episodes instantly# No change in monthly Netflix costs and you continue to get your DVDs by mail# Easily connects directly to your TV# Pause, rewind or play anytime - just like a DVD# Guaranteed to work with your TV

My Poor wife... My son has the PS2 in his room. The girls have a DVD player in there's but my master bedroom is without a "multimedia player". Sure, we have a TV there, but all the media hardware resides in our living room. Maybe I can fix that.

My wife is a NETFLIX addict. It's my fault, she couldn't see paying for and mailing DVDs untill I signed us up years ago. Now netflix stream movies and she's tied to her PC most of the day. That's not fair so I'll probably buy this Roku box thingy for upstairs. I might get a couple of them and retire the Dvd players. Has anyone noticed how fast the CD/DVD phase went? I know I'm an "Early Adopter" so my Family is exposed to newer concepts but I haven't listened to a CD in years. Most of the TV I watch is stuff we DVR'd. Of course we still watch the latest and newly released DVDs but really, hard drives are taking the place of those round shiny things...
