Quickly skimming ff today,i noticed one person wrote how he wishes he was a programmer right now. WHY? Well looking at twitter Bill gates' mantra comes to mind, "developers, developers, developers." i had a coworker when i was in retail tell me about her xml and database classes. She saw my face and mentioned it would be cool to use a database to itemize my poetry. I told her i don't like being holed up at a desk in the dark all day typing code. Neither does anyone else apparently... The flip side is that jobs in the it field is still in high demand. Even though salaries have dropped after the first bubble, today's it pay rate is way better than retail jobs... So all that to say this, can you code? Better learn...
