The Today Show just showcased this site and now the website is down :). That's the cost of success since this is such an important tool when negotiating pay at work. I had to do this not too long ago. The company I worked for was taking me on permanently and I had to do research to see the going rate for the position i was filling. The number they offered me was average but because I took a huge hit just to get that job, I requested a higher number. It was above the average but still in the acceptable range. They accepted it and now I won't gripe when they put manager duties on my plate...These kind of websites are essential for getting our justified worth.
