Google Inherits Safari Security Flaws

"Google’s shiny new Web browser is vulnerable to a carpet-bombing
vulnerability that could expose Windows users to malicious hacker attacks."
Wow, did they mention that Google was informed about this flaw? I thought anyone who checks for things like this is obligated to inform the Software owner first so they can have time to fix it before the info is plastered on the net.
My project manager is going to hate this post (pro-Mac) but everyone knows firefox is the safest browser on Windows, Mac and Linux. Yes I hate seeing Firefox eat 123mb off my resource plate, but until they fix that leak what other choice do I have? Chrome? Give me break....
