Is Google too white? No, we're not talking about the white home page that's so bright it motivates some people to change its appearance to save energy. We're wondering if it is too white, as in Caucasian, because so many white people use Google that it returns results that alienate the rest of the population.
Wow, that was harsh...Blackweb 2.0 has provided detailed coverage about this search engine, so I won't. I just want to address and perhaps spin the above post properly. As I've said before, the black culture seems to be popular when it comes to entertainment and such...Google paints a broad enough search stroke to allow other specialty search engines to prosper also. I use this word because not everyone loves needle point but some do(like my wife). Not everyone enjoy Chris Botti but my good friend does... Were the two things I mentioned typically Black? What does that mean then? It means just like rap and Hiphop, rushmoredrive will be a great avenue to find younger topics and websites, not necessarily "black" topics. I searched "solacetech" and I received better results than what www.Cuil.com found. Just searched Robert Scoble there and his blog and twitter site was above his wikipedia link. That's better than Google, where wiki rules...
