Utley, Howard homer in Philly win at Texas (AP) -

Philadelphia Phillies' Chase Utley (26) is congratulated by third base coach Steve Smith, left, as Utley rounds the base following his 418-foot solo home run to right center off a pitch from Texas Rangers' Vicente Padilla in the third inning of a Major League baseball game, Saturday, June 28, 2008, in Arlington, Texas. The Phillies won 8-6.

The big hitters finally showed up again for the Philadelphia Phillies. Chase Utley and Ryan Howard hit 400-foot home runs only pitches apart in the third inning, both ending long homerless droughts, and the Phillies went on to an 8-6 victory over the Texas Rangers on a rainy Saturday night. "I've said it all along, we've got to hit to win," manager Charlie Manuel said.
