Why isn't Robert F. Fleming jr in Wikipedia?

This doesn't make any sense! Why isn't there any in depth info on the inventor of the guitar? I guess it's not that important to American Culture!?! It's too strange to see nothing but one sentence at http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Who_is_robert_f_fleming_jr that says "african american inventor of guitar." Forget about kids having to find him for "Black History Month", the guitar is the most popular musical instrument in American Pop Culture! Wow... Somebody tell me something.
