CrunchBar- Don’t Laugh, You need This Too

CrunchBar :: TechCrunch Community Toolbar.

I am not a conformist, let me start off this way. After I’ve scouted, done research and asked around, I then make a decision. I, just like everyone else, tilt my head when Mike Arrington shoots from the hip about certain topics and choices, however, his impromptu decisions can be compared to our brainstorm.

Take for instance the “crunchbar”. Now if GigaOm would’ve launched this, a slight pause would be warranted. Just having JKontherun at your fingertips is enough to be up to date. The problem with that though is that the rest would be filler.

Techcrunch on the other hand, handcrafted many blogs from scratch, or at least saved from obscurity. A couple of months ago someone on friendfeed asked why I bookmark so many crunch related posts. It wasn’t really on purpose, just look at the info: Mobilecrunch, Crunchgear, TechcrunchIT, Crunchbase, Gilmore gang and Techcrunch50. I don’t mind giving credit where credit is due so this goes out to @arrington and his group of close business partners, I just wish they had a firefox verison…
