Official Google Mobile Blog: Google Latitude. Now for iPhone..

Not to be a kill-joy, I’m just curious as to why everyone calls S60 an outdated mobile OS when even new apps work seamlessly on it. When I exit out of google maps, Latitude asks me if I still prefer it on, that’s seamless. When I go to sites with flash video,I’m asked if I want to play the video on the page or via the flash player, seamless.

Latitude even has  a walking and transit feature for my city. I can check for the closest bus, train or trolley if I don’t feel like driving to an event in Philly. I understand Apple’s cautious look towards Google apps, but what’s Palm’s excuse?
