I just want to thank fring.com again for bringing the US up to date. I’m really curious to see if the iPhone gets a second camera when it goes to CDMA. That would be the device to sell oversees, not the handicapped iPhone 3GS. People in Asia are watching TV and talking to each other via video.
Anyway, fring video on Nokia devices is great even in low light. The audio is a little low so it might be an issue in crowded areas. The biggest issue is that it only works via wifi and 3G. In Philly only the Nokia n900 picked up on T-Mobile’s 3G, the n97 mini and the 5800xm is a 3G no go.
Hopefully though other phone makers will see the light soon and make dual camera phones for the US. Who cares how cool your touchscreen is if you can’t see your caller’s face?
