Yes. I’m the CTO of Cloud Registry, a service provider for new top
level domains (TLD).

> What’s the name of your Blog and what is it about?
My blog is unimaginatively named “Wil Tan”, and it’s where I post mythoughts and anecdotes on domain names, identity, and internationalization.

> Do you own a company?
Yes, two! MojiPage and Cloud Registry are both companies that I co-founded.

> How do you use Social Media?
I use it personally to enhance my online experience by harnessing the

collective conscience of my network. Professionally, I’d like to use
it to keep my companies transparent, and not think of it as a
marketing tool.

> Where do you think Social media is going?
I’d like to see a product that achieves the right balance of signal

vs. noise, centralized vs. distributed, locked-in vs. portable,
realtime vs. polled, freeform vs. organized, promiscuous vs. discreet,
broad vs. niche, large vs. small, and integrates mobile, location, and
localization technologies in a way that makes sense.
